Welcome...
Thank you for your interest in the Library Science Program is
at DACC in Las Cruces.
We offer all Library Science courses ONLINE. You can take individual courses,
work towards an Associate of Applied Science Degree, or a Certificate of
Completion. The New Mexico State Department of Education accepts our
courses towards a School Library Media Specialist Endorsement, as do
other states, depending on their requirements.
Employment opportunities in libraries and throughout the rest of the
information management field are growing. Acquiring, organizing, and
providing access to the vast wealth of materials that exist in
increasingly automated environments are ongoing challenges. Those who
have strong skills in these areas will find themselves in great demand in
the job market.
We are a branch of New
Mexico State University and all you need is
Internet access to take one of our convenient online courses. There are no
on-site visits required. It is easy to get admitted and registered for
our reasonably priced classes.
We appreciate your interest in the Library Science Program
and hope we will be able to satisfy your educational needs. If you have
any questions or need help getting registered, please don't hesitate to
contact us by phone or e-mail. we look forward to having you in class.
